My name is Brooke Shelton and I am the writer on the other side of your screen. Ever since I was a young teenager I have had 6 major God given dreams that I wanted to accomplish in my life; they are as follows: get married, (check!!) be an accomplished author, be in full time ministry, be a mama, travel internationally and teach English as a Second Language.
The birth of this blog is the start of working on becoming an author, for sure! And my biggest cheerleader of this dream, and really all of them has my best friend, college sweetheart and husband-- Nathan. So, I dedicate this work of writings to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as well as my sweet husband, because I would not be where I am today without their continued love and support in chasing after and pursuing all of my dreams!!
The heart behind this blog is to bring my readers spiritual encouragement that fosters spiritual growth and a deep love for the Word of God; and the things of God. Each post will focus on topics such as the love walk, the Holy Spirit, prayer, marriage and ministry, and how to be the best godly wife you can be. This is just a small sample of what you will read and experience here at Holy Bible Bites with Brooke. This blog is made for both new believers and mature Christians alike-- all are welcome here!
The hope and goal is that this blog will be the beginnings of eventually turning into my first published book, a devotional for everyone to enjoy... and you all get to have a front row seat along the way there!
I encourage you to subscribe so that you can stay updated to read and engage with every new post, hot off the press, or keyboard in my case...ha!
Again, welcome to Holy Bible Bites with Brooke! I am delighted to have you here, friend! I pray that you are blessed by the gift that the Lord has given me and I trust that it will help you grow and fall deeper in love with King Jesus!!
In Him,
Brooke Shelton
